SGI Sports Management secures first talent

Nine footballers from the men’s and women’s game have become the first to sign with SGI Sport Management to support their professional development on and off the field.

Launched just last month and stating its commitment to offer players a tailored management service, SGI Sport Management is led by FIFA Licensed Agent, UEFA A qualified coach and the former Director of Football at West Bromwich Albion FC Women, Dave Lawrence, who boasts more than 20 years’ experience in player and coach development.

The nine players to have already signed to date are:

  • Aksum White, 23, Bromsgrove Sporting FC men
  • Ben Sanogo, 20, Birmingham United FC men and former Inter Milan Academy
  • Jordan Kondo, 20, Birmingham United FC men
  • Ben Cassidy, 21, Alvechurch FC men
  • Shannon Stamps, 23, Stoke City FC women
  • Mariam Mahmood, 19, West Bromwich Albion FC women
  • Isaac Adegoke, 21, Lye Town men and former Oxford United and Reading Academy
  • Gerson Laila, 20, Birmingham United FC men
  • Sophie Phillips, Birmingham City Women FC and Wales Youth International
